Today I scuffed up the new springs and re-painted them with Eastwood Chassis Black. After allowing time for the paint to cure, I decided that today would be the day that the new springs would be installed. The spring installation went fine! There was an issue when I attempted to bolt the upper control arms to the rear. The passenger side arm would not bolt up to the rear end (did not line up). More info: The upper control arms were replaced with a set of reproduction arms due to the fact that the original arms beyond restoration. The replacement arms were ordered from Ground Up. Upon inspection I noticed that the replacement arms were not an exact replacement. The end that mounted to the rear end was rounded more on the original arm than the replacement arm. The new arms will have to be cut down in order to fit.
