January 2012 - Featured Car - 1970 Chevelle SS LS5
This month we are featuring a 1970 SS LS5. We found this car at the May of 2011 - Golden West Chevelle Club car show in Glendora, California. The car was “born” on the second week of March, 1970 at the Arlington, Texas manufacturing plant. The LS5 refers to the option code for the 360-hp Turbo-Jet 454 V8 which develops 500 ft/lbs of torque at 3200RPM. Total price for this car including options in 1970: $2,989.00
